JMU to Hold Women in Leadership Conference

Women in LeadershipJMU is holding its first ever Women in Leadership Conference on Saturday, March 22, from 9 a.m. to 2:15 p.m.  This conference, to be held in Zane Showker Hall, is open to all students, and is intended to help with the transition from college to career.

An impressive lineup of speakers and topics is planned, including Keynote Speaker Dr. Alison Morrison-Shetlar, Provost and Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs, Western Carolina University; Mary Anne Mason, Esq., Partner, Crowell and Moring, Washington, D.C.; and Mary Ann Alger, Business Development Consultant and JMU First Lady.

Topics include entrepreneurship, successful negotiations, and building credibility.
