(Sussex World) Fenix Insight Ltd and Ace High Drone Specialists collaborate to create IRIS, an artifiical intelligence (AI)-assisted real-time visual surveying drone, addressing the urgent need for demining efforts in Ukraine, the most heavily mined country globally. IRIS, powered by cutting-edge AI algorithms, revolutionizes demining by accurately surveying and mapping contaminated areas, detecting unexploded ordnance (UXO) threats in real time. Its swift surveying capabilities minimize the time spent by ordnance teams in high-risk areas, reducing exposure to hazards. Successful field demonstrations in Ukraine, conducted with military and emergency response teams, validate IRIS's unprecedented capability to detect live landmines, particularly TM62 mines, in real-time, setting a new standard for reliability and accuracy in current conflict zones.
