Cambodia Warns of UXO Risk During Floods

(khmertimeskh) In a notification, CMAA First Vice-President Ly Thuch noted that during and after floods, some explosive remnants of war could be unearthed by landslides or strong currents and these could endanger the lives of people.
He added that on behalf of Prime Minister Hun Manet, who is CMAA President, the authority would like to instruct relevant authorities and mine clearance operators to reduce mine risk and educate people not to handle mines or UXO they come across but immediately report these to authorities.
