200 Units of Erw’s and Ammunitions Cleared From Village in Kratie Province

(Khmer Times) The mine clearing operation which began on March 11, 2023 in collaboration with local people in Thnal village, Svay Chres commune, Snoul district, Kratie province is among the last to be carried out in Kratie before it is declared as a mine free province.
According to the report, since February 27, 2023, NPMEC demining forces have been in charge of demining operations for the first phase on an area of 1,031,880 square meters and reached an area of 570 square meters. 656 square meters throughout the country, including at Kampomg Speu where mine clearing operations were funded by Khmer Times and the Malaysian Business Chamber of Cambodia (MBCC).
