Border Control Critical in Efforts to Combat Proliferation of Small Arms

(KBC) Interior and national administration principal secretary Dr. Raymond Omollo has underscored the critical role of border control in the management of small and light weapons.

Speaking on Tuesday when he opened a three day training on strengthening Cross Border Arms and Enhancing Small Arms and Ammunition Field Identification and Tracing, Omolo said proper border controls has the net effect of cutting down on the amount of illicit weapons that are moved across borders thereby preventing conflicts.
