Young Boy Injured in Poonch Landmine Explosion

(Times of India) A senior police officer said the blast took place along the Line of Control (LoC) in Poonch district on Monday where the victim identified as Mohammad Shoaib was grazing his cattle. “He apparently stepped on a landmine which triggered the explosion. When the landmine exploded in the forward area, army and other security forces rushed there,” the official said. The official said that the injured has been hospitalised and his condition is believed to be stable.
