Three Children Among Four Dead in Indian-Made Mine Blast in Zafarwal

(Pakistan Today) Four people, including three children, died in an explosion caused by an Indian-made anti-tank mine in the Punjab city of Zafarwal on Sunday morning.

The blast took place in the Nulleh Deg in Zafarwal as the children were trying to catch fish in the floodwater coming from India. They instead caught an Indian-made anti-tank mine floating in the floodwater.

Personnel of bomb disposal squad, Zafarwal Police Station and Rescue 1122 reached the spot and transported the bodies to a nearby hospital.
