CMAC, Thai counterpart affirm cooperation on mine clearance

(Khmer Times) The Cambodian Mine Action Centre (CMAC) and the Thailand Mine Action Centre (TMAC) have affirmed cooperation on research and mine clearance in the areas of the border.

This joint cooperation was agreed upon in a meeting on April 8 between CMAC’s director-general Heng Ratana and visiting TMAC’s deputy director-general Sukit Khamtit.

CMAC and TMAC agreed to continue cooperation on mine clearance in the area of the border between the two countries and this is in line with the agreement that the two parties signed in 2020, said Ratana.
