Libya’s cities left ‘re-contaminated’ by months of fighting, warn landmine clearance experts

SUMMARY: Ongoing hostilities in Libya have left numerous cities severely “re-contaminated” with unexploded ordnance, threatening schools, universities and hospitals, the UN Mine Action Service (UNMAS) said on Wednesday.
