NewsCasey Templeton views the world through a camera lens, using his talents to see the extraordinary in everyday life — detailed images most people overlook. The School of Media Arts and Design senior's natural "eye" has caught award-winning photos for JMU's Madison magazine, The Breeze and Curio, as well as for The Roanoke Times and Staunton Daily News Leader, newspapers that employed him. Now, the 2005 College Photographer of the Year has caught the eye of National Geographic, where he will intern for 14 weeks, using his visual versatility and depth to change perceptions of the world around the world.
