When Sarah Luck earned her master’s in education, she showed her gratitude in a big way. Before her diploma was dry, Luck established the Sarah Miller Luck (’14, ’15) Endowed Professorship for Excellence in Education. The professorship honors her former education professor, John Almarode. “He has seen me throughout the program as adviser, teacher and supervisor,” says the new second grade teacher. “I hope to impact my students in these same ways.” Sarah’s commitment to excellent education through her endowment will influence hundreds of future Madison teachers, as it sets a new bar for young alumni support.
