During her 11-month tour, Lesley Kipling worked side by side with Iraqi policemen —most of whom had never before worked with a woman — to set up a $20 million communications network linking Baghdad police stations. When her tour ended in February 2004, Lesley's new friends threw her a going-away party. One network at a time. One relationship at a time. Lesley Kipling changed minds.
