03-june-bov-group-photo-inset.jpgSerial entrepreneur Jeff Grass (’92) says he loves hiring JMU grads: “They’re the best. JMU is producing team players, people who are good communicators, who just work well with others.” Grass has surrounded himself with fellow Dukes for his latest venture, HUNGRY, a revolutionary service where customers — typically businesses looking to provide lunch to large groups of employees or clients — are able to connect with local chefs directly. “To build a successful business, I always need a great team, and I know JMU is developing a culture of entrepreneurship that is unique in higher education.” Grass has brought his insights full circle, teaching a JMU College of Business course, serving on the Board of Visitors and supporting the Dukes Pay It Forward scholarship effort. “On a personal level, JMU was very transformative for me, and I can see that’s still the case for so many students. My way of giving back is to pay it forward.”
