2017-18 BTC Calendar: William, Betty, and Carter Lusk

Throughout 60 years of marriage, Bill and Betty Lusk have been devoted to their two sons and six grandchildren, a group that includes two engineers, a marketing/design specialist, a criminologist, a computer scientist and a doctor of physical therapy. That therapist is eldest grandson, Carter (’12), a graduate of the College of Health and Behavioral Sciences. Knowing the value of education, Bill, a retired senior executive of Shaw Industries Inc., and Betty have supported all the institutions their grandchildren attended. At JMU they created a scholarship endowment, underscoring their belief that, says Bill, “to be the change, you have to give back.”
