Being the Change
Margo Deihl understands adversity—and how to put it to good use. The 2016 pre-med biology and Honors graduate from the College of Science and Mathematics with minors in music in the College of Visual and Performing Arts and nonprofit studies, has battled juvenile rheumatoid arthritis and scleroderma. Yet she never let medical difficulties keep her from a full Madison Experience. Margo, an accomplished violinist, played with the JMU Symphony Orchestra and worked as a resident adviser. Margo’s challenges will someday inform her career as a physician. Currently, she is completing the yearlong Graduate Certificate Program at Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine and applying to medical schools.
