What does it mean to you to have received a Madison Award for Academic Excellence?

Receiving the Madison Award for Excellence has truly meant the world to me. Being recognized for my accomplishments is one thing; however, having these accomplishments recognized by my No. 1 school is a triumph unlike any other. I am truly grateful and humbled for the opportunity to continue my excellence at JMU.

What does the Giving Day 2022 theme “Dukes 2gether” mean to you? Share a time when you have been a part of Dukes working together while at JMU.

Being a part of the JMU Opera Theater’s fall production of Don Giovanni was a wonderful experience where dozens of Dukes worked day in and day out to put on an amazing show. The incredible energy each Duke brought to the rehearsals before putting the final performance together is something that can only be found at JMU. Roll Dukes!
