JMU to host February town halls for feedback on draft plan

JMU News

The strategic planning process is entering an exciting phase, with multiple opportunities for the JMU community to contribute valuable feedback on the draft plan.

President Jim and the strategic plan co-chairs will host three upcoming town hall meetings. These sessions are designed to gather input on the current draft by learning what resonates most with our community and understanding where questions or concerns may exist. Your input will play a meaningful role in shaping the final version of the plan.

Town hall dates and locations:

  • Feb. 19 | 10–11 a.m. (virtual)
  • Feb. 20 | 11 a.m.–noon (Grafton-Stovall Theater)
  • Feb. 26 | 2–3 p.m. (Festival Conference Room 7)

Please register for a town hall online. Additional details and registration information are also available on the Strategic Planning website.

In addition, a survey is now available for those who would like to share their thoughts and reactions to the draft plan. We encourage thoughtful feedback on what you find compelling and on what may need refinement within the individual components of the plan. All feedback will receive careful attention as we work toward completing the final plan.

Your voice matters in this process. We hope you will take part in a town hall, complete the survey, or participate in both as we work together to shape JMU’s future.
