JMU recognizes May 2023 graduates

Harrisonburg, Va. — James Madison University is pleased to celebrate May 2023 graduates.   

Commencement ceremonies will be held on Thursday, May 11, Friday, May 12 and Saturday, May 13 in the Atlantic Union Bank Center. The full commencement schedule, and links to live streams of the ceremonies, can be found on the university website at jmu.edu/commencement.

The university will confer 3,718 undergraduate degrees, 555 graduate degrees and 32 doctoral degrees.  

The top three most popular undergraduate degrees were health sciences, psychology and nursing. Education, accounting and nursing were the top three graduate programs.  

The commencement ceremonies are ticketed events. Other general information on commencement is available at jmu.edu/commencement.
