JMU Recognizes December Graduates
JMU HeadlinesJames Madison University is pleased to announce more than 930 members of the campus community will graduate this weekend.
Commencement ceremonies will begin on Friday, Dec. 14, and continue through Saturday, Dec. 15.
On Friday, Ken Rutherford, professor of political science and director of the Center for International Stabilization and Recovery at JMU, will speak during the Graduate School commencement.
Brad Roof, Hantzmon Wiebel, LLP Faculty Scholar and professor of accounting at JMU, will speak at the undergraduate commencement on Saturday.
JMU will offer live streaming video of the ceremonies, which can be viewed by visiting JMU’s homepage.
The top three most popular undergraduate majors are nursing, health sciences and hospitality management. Of the students in graduate programs, 142 will receive master’s degrees and 16 will receive doctoral degrees. The top three programs for graduate students are physician assistant studies, occupational therapy and education.
