About the cover

For the cover of the Winter 2019 issue, our own Elise Trissel recreated an original work by Vladimir Nazarov, “The Cure to Growing Older,” which is on display at Impact Art Gallery. The mural took her nine sessions totaling 36 hours over three weeks. She used a 6-foot ladder and meticulous attention to detail to compare her creation to the original piece.
