JMU athletics hosts Special Olympians for annual Day with the Dukes

JMU Athletics will host its eighth annual Day with the Dukes event Saturday, September 13.
In partnership with the JMU psychology department, JMU Athletics welcomes Special Olympians from across Virginia to campus to participate in activities with the Dukes’ football, men’s basketball, women’s basketball, baseball and cheerleading student-athletes.
The special event begins at 9:45 a.m. in Godwin Hall with activities scheduled until 1 p.m. Special Olympians will receive tickets to attend Saturday’s home football game against Saint Francis that kicks off at 4 p.m.
