What I love about JMU video contest
It's the end of the school year and nearly everyone is leaving campus! Some are even graduating! Before you go, tell us what you love about JMU in a video and we might use it to recruit new freshmen next year. You can even win prizes!
It's easy
Download the amazing new free app Montaj, developed by a company where JMU alumnus Ross Moulton (’07) works. Montaj was just named the second most promising new app out SXSW -- think instagram but for video!
Then create a brief video about your passion for JMU to share with the Madison community. Make it creative, make it fun, make it JMU!
Prizes
Winners will receive a diploma frame from the JMU Bookstore or a Bookstore gift card.
Deadline
Entries must be submitted by May 17, 2013 to publicaffairs@jmu.edu. After exporting from Montaj, email the video file directly from your device.
Eligible
All current students, graduating seniors, and JMU alums are invited to enter.
Ideas?
Feel free to use existing photos/videos you already have, capture some footage of graduation, show us your favorite spots on campus, reminisce, tell stories, etc. Get creative and fun… tell us what’s on your mind! With Montaj it's fun and easy.
Disclaimer
Also keep in mind that you’re representing yourself as well as the university in your video. Entries should not include footage that displays the breaking of university policies or Virginia state laws.
