Stang featured in Chemical and Engineering News

JMU Chemistry alum, Eric Stang ('05), was featured in the September 12, 2011 issue of Chemical & Engineering News for his work on novel cyclization reactions as a graduate student under the direction of Prof. M. Christina White at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. Eric worked with Barbara Reisner and Kevin Minbiole while an undergrad at JMU. This is actually the second time that Eric has been mentioned in C&E News in his brief graduate career. C&E News is the trade magazine for the American Chemical Society which has more than 161,000 members in all fields of chemistry.
