Engage in a refreshing, two-day scholarship retreat at the JMU Farm.
Seeking renewal with your scholarship? Join us for a two-day scholarship retreat with a community of faculty scholars at the JMU Farm about 20 minutes from campus.
Reconnect to your scholarship and stimulate creativity through reflection, connection with colleagues, and more as you commit sustained time dedicated to completing a project or developing your research agenda. The retreat agenda is balanced between long open-sessions of self-directed time to work on your scholarship and facilitated sessions that involve reflection and discussion of creative ways to sustain a positive relationship with your scholarship.
Meals will be provided courtesy of the Center for Faculty Innovation.

If you find that you are unable to attend this retreat, please email cfi@jmu.edu as early as possible. We value your interest in this popular writing retreat; however, due to the high demand of faculty interest in our scholarship writing retreats, a registered participant who doesn't attend a scheduled retreat without prior notification to CFI may result in being waitlisted for future writing retreats this semester. We appreciate your respect for our programs and others that wish to attend.
