Brown Bag Lunches |
These presentations cover many topics of interest, including stress management, exercise and nutrition, campus safety, and healthy college relationships. Most of these programs are passport events! |

Sharing Our Stories |
Once a month, JMU women (students and professors) gather to share stories. |

Open Forums |
Past topics of discussion included Women in Politics, Child Abuse Prevention and Awareness, Motherliness, and Women's Magazines. |

Take Back the Night |
A night of speakers, musical performers, and presentations dedicated to ending violence against women. Survivors and secondary survivors who have been affected by violence are given the opportunity to speak out, which is later followed by a candlelit march through campus. |

|
Women of Distinction |
An awards program to recognize outstanding achievements of JMU women. These awards are intended to celebrate women's achievements and contributions in their career, personal, or academic endeavors. An award will be presented to a student, faculty, and staff member of JMU. |

Through the Eyes of a Woman |
Celebrating Women's History Month, this program features art by women and about women's experiences. |

|
The Clothesline Project |
A visual display of shirts made by those affected by violence against women. The event is planned in collaboration with First Year Involvement (FYI) and displayed in conjunction with Take Back the Night. |

Community Service Projects |
Being actively involved in the community is an important goal for the WRC and volunteers are always needed! |
