Short video presentations about each of the functions in the JMU Web Manager are available throughout the Web Manager.  The videos will launch into Windows Media Player when you click on a   icon.

NOTE FOR WINDOWS USERS: If the Web Manager help videos are blurry or blocky on your computer, try the following:

1. Open the Windows Media Player screen wide enough to allow the videos to play at full size.  Windows Media Player will shrink the playback size and degrade the quality if you player window is too small.  JMU Web Manager videos are encoded at 640 by 480 pixels.
2. If the above option does not work, or if the video plays back clearly a few seconds and then reverts to much poorer quality, you may need to change your hardware acceleration settings.  To do this from the Windows Start button, select Settings à Control Panel.  Open your Displays control panel.  Click the Advanced tab.  Then click the Troubleshooting tab and follow the instructions to reduce or turn off hardware acceleration.

NOTE FOR MACINTOSH USERS: Windows Media Player for Mac OSX may not play the videos properly due to bugs in the carbonized version of the player.  At this point, the only workaround is play the videos in OS 9.
