Editing Your Site for the First TIme

When you edit your site for the first time in the JMU Web Manager, you'll have to create your site's "look" and generate a home page before you reach the Control Panel for your site.

If you're editing a site that already exists, don't worry that you'll damage your live site by accident. When you edit your site in the JMU Web Manager, your changes are stored in a sub-directory called "wm_preview." No changes are made to your live site until you click the "Update the Live Site" button on the Control Panel.
