Position:  Business Development - Smart Phone Solutions (part-time)

Description:  Mobile Solutions company seeks an energetic student to work for a growing high-tech enterprise and help revolutionize restaurant ordering in your area. You will work with us to generate and maintain restaurant clients as well as develop marketing campaigns around campus. This role will provide a student with real-world experience and an opportunity to see how business development, marketing and strategy apply to growing enterprise.

 You will also have the ability to earn money along the way.  Part-time, flexible hours fit with your schedule.  Plus the opportunity to earn stock.  A great resume building opportunity for the right student interested in business or technology, and who also loves to use his / her smart-phone.  If you're a rock star, potential to join the company after graduation.

Duties:  

  • Cold calling local restaurants and their headquarters to determine who makes decisions for their organization
  • Discussing the current needs of the restaurant to determine if we can provide a profitable solution for them
  • Setting appointments with the decision makers for demonstrations and negotiations
  • Attending conference call meetings and sales and marketing meetings, on occasion
  • Developing new strategies with Director to increase market awareness
  • Create marketing ideas and strategies for team to implement into the business development routine

Requirements:  

  • Ability to understand and work with new technology is a must
  • Also, must currently own and use a BlackBerry or an iPhone
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, both in person and over the phone
  • Motivated team player who consistently strives to exceed goals and push revenue expectations
  • Extensive task management ability
  • Strong desire to learn sales and marketing from its most core level
