25 students and two faculty members from the social work department boarded a bus at 6 a.m. on January 21. Headed for Washington, D.C., these future social workers jumped at the chance to participate in the Women’s March on Washington.

In the summer of 2014, social work professor Hyong Yeom travelled to Seoul, South Korea to conduct research at an alternative school for North Korean refugee youths, Yeomyung School.

Our Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) degree prepares students for beginning professional practice, and is the entry-level credential as recognized by the National Association of Social Workers. Our program is fully accredited by the Council on Social Work Education, qualifying our BSW graduates for consideration for Advanced Standing in MSW programs across the nation. More >
