Thomas W. Bilello Memorial Internship Fund
 Criteria:
     Need Based? No
     Freshman Only? No
 Information:
An internship fund established by Thomas W. Bilello and Nancy Mayer in memory of their son, Thomas W. Bilello, JMU alumnus of the class of 1987. This fund will benefit a JMU student who wishes to pursue athletic administration as a profession, regardless of major. The recipient must engage in an internship experience within an intercollegiate athletic program. Preferably, the internship will be at JMU but internships at other institutions will be eligible. The student must remain in good academic standing and may continue to receive this award for more than one year. This fund will be administered by the Kinesiology program.
 

Dr. Caroline B. Sinclair Scholarship
 Criteria:
     Need Based? Yes
     Freshman Only? No
 Information:
An endowed scholarship established by Dr. Caroline Sinclair, former member of the physical education department and department chairperson from 1950 to 1966 with a twofold purpose; to provide for attendance of a national convention and/or a scholarship. The Kinesiology Department's outstanding senior may attend the appropriate national convention as identified by the department chairperson. The scholarship recipient is to be a student within the Department of Kinesiology with a grade point average of 2.5 or higher. To be awarded at the end of the sophomore year and be continued for two years, through the recipient's senior year as long as the student continues to meet the basic criteria. Appropriate faculty, identified by the department chairperson, should be involved in selecting or recommending the scholarship recipient.
 

Marilyn Crawford Kinesiology Graduate Scholarship
 Criteria:
     Need Based? No
     Freshman Only? No
 Information:
An endowed scholarship established by Charlotte Arrendell in memory of her sister, Marilyn Crawford to recognize the contributions she made to Madison College and the field of Physical Education. This scholarship must benefit a Kinesiology graduate student returning to JMU in the forthcoming academic year, who demonstrates a desire to learn and who exhibits enthusiasm for life. This scholarship will be administered by the head of the Kinesiology Department.
