Joe Damico ('76, '77M)Joe Damico turns the notion of corporate raider on its ear. He and three other partners established RoundTable Healthcare Partners, a private equity firm that invests in healthcare businesses with a promising future. His firm's investment bolsters the company, stimulates the economy and comes full circle to benefit the equity firm. What he would simply call sound business is changing the future of healthcare opportunities. As rector of the JMU Board of Visitors and the second Madison alumnus to lead the board, Joe brings his business acumen to the governance of his alma mater and champions the core values of the Madison Experience. Joe and his wife, Pamela ('77), a JMU education graduate, take the same approach to their Madison philanthropy. They intend their gift of the Jackson Ramsey Centennial Chair in Business to honor Joe's professor and to buttress JMU's thriving business programs so that future students can enjoy the benefits the Damicos experienced as Madison students.

The Jackson Ramsey Centennial Chair in Business will help future students enjoy the benefits of the Madison Experience.
