Many students in our department study abroad at some point during their JMU careers. If you decide to conduct a study-abroad program (whether through JMU or via some other university), please check with your major advisor to clarify if and how the courses offered might count toward your JMU degree.

Over half of our department's faculty have led study-abroad programs abroad. If you'd like advice on studying abroad, reach out to a faculty member.

Remember that the application deadline for all JMU study-abroad programs is November 1, 2017 with regard to summer 2018, fall 2018, and spring 2019 opportunities.
