The Non-Profit Institute’s Certificate in Nonprofit Management offers professional development for area nonprofit leaders. The program includes 40+ hours of professional development over seven months for a cost of $400; all registration fees are applied to the cost of offering the program.

The steering committee recognizes that not all nonprofit organizations share the same resources, and that the financial commitment for this program may cause hardship for potential students. Therefore, a very limited number of partial scholarship funds are available, and will be awarded on a case-by-case basis up to $200.00.

Scholarship Application Deadline: July 20, 2018, or until the program is full, whichever occurs first. A $200 deposit towards the registration fee must be paid to hold your space. The NPI Steering Committee will meet to determine scholarship awards and recipients will be notified no later than August 3, 2018.

To apply for scholarship funds, submit the application with a one-page statement online.

Statement should address the following:

  1. Describe how this program would help shape your professional career.
  2. Describe how this program would help you improve as a leader in your organization.
  3. Describe the financial need of your organization in regards to professional development, and provide contact information for at least one other person at your organization who can verify that need.
