Educational Foundations and Exceptionalities

Professional Experience and Interests:

  • Taught students with low incidence disabilities, autism, and severe behavior challenges
  • Worked as an ABA consultant
  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst – Doctoral
  • Interests include: Applied Behavior Analysis, Single-Subject Research Design, Teacher Education (including Coaching), General Curriculum Access for Students with Severe Disabilities and Autism

Current Research:

  • Use of coaching to improve teachers' use of function based interventions
  • Increasing students' with severe disabilities performance on general curriculum academics
  • Decreasing problem behaviors in students with severe disabilities
