Senior John Gardner to attend Yale bioethics program

John Gardner, a senior philosophy and religion major, was recently accepted into Yale's Summer Institute for Bioethics. The program lasts eight weeks and consists of course staught by Yale faculty and invited professors, special seminars on contemporary debates in bioethics, field trips (e.g. visiting the Hastings Center), and a final conference at which John will present his research. In fall of 2014, John will present his work and share his experiences with the JMU community with the help of the Madison Collaborative. The Department warmly congratulates John on his acceptance!
