Frances Flannery (Associate Professor of Religious Studies) received the Carl Harter Distinguished Teacher Award for 2012-2013, awarded to one teacher annually in the College of Arts and Letters at James Madison University. As part of the honor, she was the commencement speaker for CAL at the May 4 graduation, 2013. The Department would like to congratulate Dr. Flannery on receiving this honor!
