On Wednesday, October 28, the management department hosted an event called Bagels and Banter. Management students were invited to stop by and get acquainted with faculty, learn more about the management major and management related careers, and enjoy bagels, orange juice and coffee. Mostly targeted toward freshmen, sophomores and new students to the College of Business, Bagels and Banter was intended as a great way to make connections with professors in an informal setting while honing networking skills that will be useful in the workplace. The management faculty feels it is important to give students the opportunity to mingle with instructors, meet other management majors, ask questions about the management curriculum and extracurricular activities, and find out about internships and job opportunities. The event was informative, beneficial and delicious!
