Internal Sales CompetitionThe JMU Professional Sales Club along with the Center for Professional Sales held the second Internal Sales Competition on September 29, 2015. Over 20 representatives from various companies attended the event; the companies represented at the competition included BNA Bloomberg, TEKsystems, Tom James, UPS and Vorsight. The event was held for the first time in the new Sales Labs on the first floor of Zane Showker Hall. Company representatives acted as role-play buyers and judges of the competition. The students were judged on criteria including professional introduction, rapport building, needs discovery and professionalism. Out of the 14 competitors, the student winners were Alexandra Ender, Jon Daly, Nicole Asaban and Olivia Deputy. Ender and Daly will go on to represent JMU at the International Collegiate Sales Competition, while Asaban and Deputy will represent JMU at the National Sales Challenge, with Dr. Andy Wood serving as their coach.
