COB Alumna Lori Gravely

On Sept. 15, 2014, James Madison University Alumna Lori Gravely will be assuming all Materials Management and Clinical Engineering operational responsibilities for both Sentara RMH Medical Center (SRMHMC) and Martha Jefferson Hospital. At Sentara Martha Jefferson Hospital, Lori will be replacing Dana Trom who is retiring after 22 years of service. Lori received her BS & MBA from JMU and began her career in public accounting prior to starting her position in the Finance Department at SRMHMC.
Lori has been the Director of Materials Management at SRMHMC for 15 years. She has overseen the successful implementation of the Lawson Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) System and the move to the new hospital location in June 2010. She also coordinated and implemented the just-in-time inventory system to prepare for the move to the new hospital in 2009. In addition to her duties over Materials Management and Clinical Engineering, she is responsible for Central Sterile Services at SRMHMC as well.
With the rapid growth of Sentara Materials Management, Gravely will bring an expansive knowledge base and will be a key part of Sentara Materials Management team.
