TRANSFER STUDENTS

WELCOME to James Madison University!

Congratulations for choosing JMU to be your home for the next few years!  We hope that you are looking forward to your experience at JMU and that you plan to join the Marching Royal Dukes. 

After acceptance to the university, a packet inviting you to join the Dukes will be mailed to you by the end of May.  In it, you will receive important information about our season. If you are interested in joining the band, information will be available May 2014 for online registration.

CURRENT JMU STUDENTS

If you are a CURRENT JMU STUDENT and would like to join the MRD’s, please contact the JMU Band Office at 540.568.6656 or Connie Driscoll at driscocl@jmu.edu for more information.

All CURRENT STUDENTS should complete the R.S.V.P. FORM and return it to the band office - Room 214 of the Music Building.

ALL MEMBERS MUST REGISTER FOR MUAP 237.

BRCC STUDENTS

If you are attending Blue Ridge Community College and want to be a part of the JMU Marching Royal Dukes:

1.  Complete the online reservation form when available (May). 

2.  Contact the JMU Office of Outreach Programs for information regarding registration.  ALL MRD MEMBERS must be registered for MUAP 237 by the first day of classes, August 27, 2013.

PLEASE NOTE:  If you applied to JMU for the 2013-14 school year and were denied admission, you will be unable to register for classes at JMU, and therefore unable to participate this season.
