Referring a Student to LSI
The academic coaching offered through Learning Strategies Instruction utilizes an empirically-based approach to help students improve their learning skills and encourages them to take a responsible, proactive approach to their studies.
If you have a student who could benefit from Learning Strategies Instruction, encourage them to contact our office to set up an appointment (email lsi@jmu.edu or to call 540-568-6705). Students should be ready to provide their availability for an appointment and area(s) of concern.
