James Madison University's annual surplus sale Saturday, May 31, features the expected furniture, storage pieces and equipment and a few not-so-ordinary items – a kiln and looms.
All items are pre-priced and will be sold on an "as is, where is" basis with no implied warranties. All sales are final.
Among the items for sale are tables, desks, chairs, pine love seats, pine end tables, bikes, file cabinets, miscellaneous recreational equipment, shelving units, audio-visual equipment and carts, bed frames, cedar wardrobes, sawdust collectors and televisions.
The 7:30 a.m. to noon sale will be held at the JMU Surplus Property Warehouse at 1070 Virginia Ave. in Harrisonburg. The warehouse is located at the north end dock area of the former Shenandoah Manufacturing plant.
Cash, credit cards and checks with proper identification are accepted forms of payment.
