On Monday, October 10, 2011, e-campus will become MyMadison, a new platform that integrates class registration and academic advising information for undergraduate students via a single log-on.
By personalizing content to students, MyMadison will provide accurate and consistent advising and registration information in a single site. This will help students locate information more readily without having to know the structure of the university and itís many departments.
For students, MyMadison retains all the functionality of e-campus in addition to incorporating important academic advising information. Students who log into MyMadison on Monday will see a new academic advising tab
that contains their course schedule and a list of academic requirements for graduation based on their major and appropriate academic catalog. MyMadison will also include convenient links to many of the most commonly used JMU websites for advising, registration, and academic support.
For faculty, MyMadison provides the same access to e-campus, class rosters, and grades via a single log-on. Over time, additional information and services will be integrated into MyMadison for both students and faculty.
Students and faculty will be able to access MyMadison through links on the jmu.edu website under Current Students or Faculty/Staff gateways. Additionally, users who have bookmarked or are used to typing the old e-campus URL into their browser will be redirected to MyMadison.
