NIAF

$2K-$12. For Italian American students or those students from any ethnic background majoring or minoring in Italian language, Italian studies, Italian American studies or a related field. Applications for scholarships for the 2015-2016 academic year will be available starting on November 1, 2014. (Students must either be members of NIAF or have a parent or guardian who is a member of NIAF.)

Order Sons of Italy in America

$4K-$25K (http://www.osia.org/students/study-abroad.php). For U.S. citizens of Italian descent in their junior or senior year of undergraduate study majoring or minoring in Italian language studies at an accredited academic institution. Application starts in November.

Programma Ponte

The Programma Ponte is a course of study given in Rome on Contemporary Italy, designed for Italian American college students and sponsored in Rome.

Sant'Anna Institute in Sorrento

The Sant'Anna Institute's grants are for students enrolled in an undergraduate degree at an American four-year accredited academic institution. More details about the Academic Merit Grants and the Torquato Tasso Advanced Italian Language Grant, here.

Italian language school "Scuola Leonardo da Vinci"

The school offers scholarships (100% reduction in the cost of a standard 4 week course excluding accommodation) and grants (partial reduction in the cost of a standard course of 2 or 4 weeks, excluding accommodation).

Middlebury College

The Middlebury college offers a variety of scholarships for Summer courses in Italian (6/7-week language courses and graduate studies: Master and Doctoral). More information about the finantial aids available, here.

Fulbright U.S. Student Program

The Fulbright program in Italy offers 14 research grants and 3 English teacing assistanships.
