James Madison Innovations, Inc. (JMI) is a non-profit corporation established in 2009 to transfer intellectual property produced at James Madison University (JMU) into the commercial sector.

Technologies with commercial value are managed by JMI to find licensees for new and existing companies. The licensing process helps businesses expand by providing an easy connection to the latest research available at JMU. Furthermore this improves the world in which we live by getting new products and technologies to market in a timely and efficient manner.
