Employee Orientation, Phase One, familiarizes new, full-time classified employees with their benefits and provides an opportunity for networking with other new JMU employees. Employees also learn about JMU’s performance evaluation process and the difference between probationary and non-probationary employment.

Employees are automatically registered for Phase One Orientation when the hiring PAR form arrives in the Human Resources office. Supervisors then receive e-mail notification of the employee's orientation date, time and location.

2013 Schedule

Phase One Orientation sessions begin at 8:30 a.m. and end at 12:00 p.m..

Orientation sessions are held in the HR conference room 2050, on the second floor of the Wine Price Building on North Campus unless otherwise noted below.
