SENIOR HONORS PROJECT
- Attend an information meeting at the beginning of any semester. (see Honors calendar for exact dates)
- Three semesters prior to graduation, contact the office of your major to enroll in the first 499 course and select your project committee. (see table below for date) Register for the remaining 499 courses each semester through the office of your major.
**NOTE** Your final transcript and diploma will only show Distinction in ONE major OR minor (no concentrations) . Therefore if you have more than one major or minor, you should enroll in the 499 series that best represents the topic of your project and/or the area of study in which you wish to receive recognition.
- Submit a Senior Honors Project Application AND a project proposal at the end of the first 499 course (see table below for exact date). Follow departmental guidelines and instructions from your project committee and page 2 of the application to prepare your proposal.
Formatting Your Project
- SHP Title/Signature page- Template - (Word 2007) title page entry form, drop your completed document into this template (no special paper is required for the title page) This form must be the first page of your document (without signatures). A signed hard copy must be submitted to the Honors Program office by the same due date as the completed project.
