Housing

An Honors Learning Community will be available in 2008-2009 for at least 60 freshmen Honors Scholars. Members of the Honors Learning Community will reside in Hoffman Hall, a newly renovated, air-conditioned, and wireless residential hall located in the coveted Bluestone section of the JMU campus. Hoffman Hall will serve as a center for a variety of Honors Program academic and social activities for resident and non-resident honors students. Students in the Honors Learning Community will be required to take an Honors General Education class with other Honors Learning Community members in the Fall semester and participate in a one-credit Honors Learning Community leadership experience in the Spring semester.
