The University Health Center’s Clinic, Student Wellness & Outreach and Substance Abuse Prevention are now located in Montpelier Hall, see the map above. Parking for students needing medical care are located in in front of Montpelier Hall.Come visit us at our new location: Montpelier Hall, 4th and 5th floor, (235 Cantrell Ave) starting January 9, 2012.
Who we serve
The University Health Center is a STUDENT Health Center. JMU faculty and staff employees are not eligible to receive services at UHC. Find out what we can do for JMU Faculty and Staff.
In Case of an Emergency
In the event that the Health Center is closed or it is after hours and you have a medical emergency, please contact Campus Police at 540.568.6911 or call 911.
If you feel that you need immediate medical assistance there are several options available to you:
- visit the Rockingham Memorial Hospital Emergency room at 2010 Health Campus Drive.
- Go to the Emergicare clinic located at 755 Cantrell Avenue (in the same building as Campbell Copy Center). The phone number for Emergicare is 540.432.9996.
