Substance Abuse Prevention initiatives are designed to increase knowledge and awareness of alcohol and other drug issues, and decrease the negative consequences associated with high-risk drinking and illegal drug use.
The University Health Center supports peer education and provides leadership for the Alcohol Advisory Committee and the Community Coalition on Alcohol Abuse to ensure that prevention programs are science-based, comprehensive and coordinated across the University. For more information, please contact the Assistant Director for Substance Abuse Prevention at (540) 568-3317.
If you consume alcoholic beverages, it's important to know whether your drinking patterns are safe, risky or harmful. This screening will only take a few minutes, and will generate personalized results. Click the image above to begin the screening.
